Being properly prepared for a Photoshoot can be the difference between it being a good shoot and a great shoot. Models aren't required to do much in preparation for their shoot, but what they do have to do is extremely important.
Please note: A professional Make-Up Artist is provided free of charge at every paid magazine Feature Photoshoot. Feature Photoshoots are not normally conducted on the first shoot
- Bikini Line
- neat, neat, neat. Models need to ensure they are neat and tidy in this area
- Skin Tone
- Models are not required to have a deep tan, however even colouration is vital. Pale skin Models are most welcome
- Fake Tans
- our preference is for Models not to have fake tans applied, unless they are exceptional. Do it yourself tans are unacceptable. Models who arrive at their Photoshoot with poor fake tans will not be shot
- Make-Up
- models should arrive at their Photoshoot with no make-up applied
- Hair
- models should ensure they wash their hair the night before, or the morning of their shoot
- Fingernails
- neat, freshly polished nails are important. Models should consider using Red, Pink, White or Clear varnish and avoid other colours, unless specifically discussed. Very short nails are geneally not an acceptable look
- Clothing
- models should ensure the clothing they wear to their shoot does not leave marks on their skin. Tight clothing should be avoided at all costs
